I am a financial freedom fireball.
Like a lot of people who end up in debt, I started my younger years heading in the wrong direction when it came to my finances. I was completely uneducated on how to use credit, how to budget and how to invest properly. Add to it things like getting into trouble with the law and incurring medical expenses and I became more and more buried under the burden of debt.
I'm now in my early 30's and pushing diligently to dig myself out by not only working hard but working SMART as well. Not only do I have a typical 9-5 job, I have a few online presences that bring in small amounts of income. As well as a few other creative ventures that I ENJOY doing that help increase those dollar signs.
I believe that people can indeed get themselves out of the hole, while STILL enjoying life to the fullest. And that is what I intend to document here for other people to see and to learn alone with me.
I am not an expert on finances YET. But that's why I started this site/blog. I wanted to document the journey of learning, testing the waters, failing, getting back up and most of all succeeding. I know the road will have bumps and twists, but I am up for the challenges. Follow me (and input your two cents when you see I'm doing something wrong! It's how we all learn!) as I take on this mountain, become stronger and smarter in my journey out of debt.
